Community Profile

Growing up in a small neighbourhood of East-Ottawa (Overbrook), Jean arrived in Orléans with his wife Nathalie in 1998 where they still reside today.  Jean has served on the board of directors or committees of a number of not-for-profit organizations.  He was the treasurer for the Orléans Business Club and the Mouvement d’implication francophone d’Orléans (MIFO). 

Jean is a member of the « Club de badminton d’Orléans » since 1998 and stays active by practicing cross country skiing, cycling, golfing and hiking.

Professional Affiliations

Jean received his financial education through the Canadian Securities Institute, first passing the Canadian Securities Course in 1999. He then completed the requirements and received in 2001 the designation of Financial Management Advisor. He also holds, since 2005, the prestigious designation of Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute.
